a new generation of software and efficient database tools
GOSHA
Software
GOSHA software is a type of relational database with pre-defined links that provide for the automatic update techniques. Friendly interface makes the software easy to operate even by an inexperienced user. The user has the advantage of automatic input of data in any work window within the database. The input data appears in combo boxes ready to be input in other fields by a mouse click. In the catalogue of texts (version 3.0 and higher) the user will have the advantage of automatically making context (by reference) and key index vocabularies. Such indexes and vocabularies can be made from texts and data tables of the database, as well as from files or a group of files.
The user can process texts imported into the database and texts contained in external text files. Before processing one may import text files into the database. One may also cut the imported file into a number of texts. Words stored in any field of the database, or any type of text files, may become a source to compile an index of unique words automatically. In order to be able to compile context (reference) vocabularies automatically, one must import text files into any of the five text fields (main or any of the four additional) or import files as attached ones into the database file folders (RTF). Each attached RTF text will have a unique index (publication and text number), and the program will also find the line or paragraph number for the processed reference. The resulting indexes of key words or context (by reference) indexes and vocabularies can be saved as 'projects' within the database. These projects can be downloaded into a special work window, added to other 'projects', deleted, etc.
While processing data automatically, the user can 'strip off' different characters. The user may specify that root analysis shall be processed while inputting data automatically. A very powerful tool that may employ search by roots is the program launched from the 'Find All Data' option of the 'AutoInput' menu.
