a new generation of software and efficient database tools

GOSHA Software

In all versions of the GOSHA programs one can use special command buttons to perform simple find tasks. In version 3.0 and higher one may use 'Find All Data' option ('AutoInput' menu) to perform complex tasks that may include search by word roots. Such tasks can be performed for the data in the database tables, as well as for any number (a batch) of text files.

Attached files (images, pictures, MS Office files, RTF files, etc.) can be searched in two ways. One can find the record they are attached to. The selection of files attached to the record will be available in a special pop-up window. The other way is to use 'Find Image' or 'Find Object' commands from 'Attached Files' on the shortcut menu. The dialog box will ask for a character string that may be a part of the title of a particular file/slide. The program will search in the database for the string and show the found title and essential data conserved in the record that the found file has been attached to.

'Replace' command ('Edit' menu) can work an unlimited number of replace tasks for the current field in a batch. It can resolve cross-references (A into B, and B into A; C into D, D into E, E into C, etc.).
