Therewith we would like to announce the first international conference on “ Quantitative imaging and spectroscopy in neuroscience ” ( QISIN ), which will take place in Pavlov Institute of Physiology, St. Petersburg, Russia from September 16 th to 19 th .
The main focus of this interdisciplinary conference is the development, improvement and adequate combination of cutting edge techniques ( e.g. high-resolution microscopy, in vivo imaging, single cell or even single bouton recordings, FRET and molecular spectroscopy), which can be applied for the further progress in our understanding of different neurobiological processes. These topics will be presented by leading Russian and international experts in following sections:
- Cellular Neuroimaging
- Optical and Neutron Spectroscopy of biomolecules
- Molecular modeling in silico
- Theoretical and Experimental Models
